World's Longest Ambulance

Assalamu'alaikum !

Dubai already has the tallest office building, the tallest residential building and the biggest aquarium in the world and as of this week it can add the longest ambulance to its list of records.

The world's longest ambulance is 18 meters (59 feet) and can hold up to 44 patients at the same time. It will immediately go to the accident scene and rescue a large number of the injured who will get treatment inside till they are transferred to the hospital.

The blue and white stretch-ambulance features a helicopter landing pad on its roof as well as Internet and satellite facilities for the doctors. With state-of-the-art operating rooms, an intensive care unit, a radiography room and an integrated pharmacy, the ambulance is more like a mobile hospital.

Salaam.

The Cowboy

Assalamu'alaikum !

A cowboy buys a horse from a friend, who tells him to say “Phew” to make the horse go and “Bah” to make it stop.

The cowboy jumps onto the saddle and says, “It’s getting dark — time to set off.” And then he shouts, “Phew!”

The horse starts to gallop quickly. “Whoa, whoa!” the cowboy yells, but the horse refuses to stop.

They are almost at the brink of a deep canyon, and it seems the cowboy will meet with an unpleasant death. Luckily, at the very last moment, he remembers the right word to use. He yells, “Bah!” The equine animal stops, just inches from the edge.

Looking down at the rocks hundreds of feet below, the cowboy is relieved that he has come through the danger. He wipes the sweat from his forehead and says, “Phew!”

Try This...

Assalamu'alaikum !

Ever heard of one of the longest (and probably among the most difficult to pronounce) placenames on earth? Well, here it is! Try to pronounce it if you can. But, don't get your tongue entangled though, hehe. Happy trying... Salam.

The 58-character name Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch is the famous name of a town on Anglesey, an island of Wales. This place's name is actually 51 letters long, as certain character groups in Welsh are considered as one letter, for instance ll, ng and ch. It is generally agreed, however, that this invented name, adopted in the mid-19th century, was contrived solely to be the longest name of any town in Britain. The official name of the place is Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, commonly abbreviated to Llanfairpwll or the somewhat jocular Llanfair PG.
